Inflammation Research Group of DUTH

Inflammation Research Group of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTH) investigates immune mechanisms, which are implicated in the induction and regulation of inflammation in various disease models. Inflammation Group is accommodated in the Laboratory of Molecular Hematology of DUTH at Dragana Campus, Alexandroupolis, Greece, under the direction of Professor Konstantinos Ritis.
 
Dragana Campus includes the University Hospital of Alexandroupolis that serving a geographical area with an approximate population of 700,000 individuals. Laboratory of Molecular Hematology is translation research unit with adequate infrastructure for cellular, molecular and genetic analysis such as real time RT-PCR, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry, Cell Cultures Equipment, and Fluorescence Microscopy.
